A Kickstart at Tesco

In partnership with the Jobcentre Plus and several chosen training providers support disadvantaged 16-30 year olds with a two-week programme of classroom and workplace training, including an accredited qualification. The programme consists of:

• A 5 day customer service course delivered by our chosen training providers in a classroom setting

• Followed by a store placement for 4 days

• With a guaranteed interview and feedback

In 2019 707 disadvantaged young people have been supported through the Movement to Work commitment, with 60% of completed work placements converting into employment.
